TWO people have been arrested after stealing from a bottle shop in Edmonton on multiple occasions over February.
The 21-year-old from Bentley Park and 16-year-old from Earlville were apprehended yesterday, 26 February at a residence on Golden Grove Drive.
According to reports, at approximately 6:15 pm on 25 February the pair entered a bottle shop in Edmonton and absconded with multiple cartons of pre-mixed spirits.
Police also report that the 21-year-old woman was involved in similar thefts at the same location on five separate occasions between 4-15 February.
The 21-year-old suspect has been charged with six counts of entering premises unlawfully and is scheduled to appear before Cairns Magistrates Court on 14 March.
Meanwhile, the 16-year-old girl has been charged with one count of entering premises unlawfully and is expected to appear before Cairns Childrens Court at a later date.
