LOCAL institution Cairns Bank will celebrate a milestone 125 years of serving Cairns customers on Monday, 22 April.
As a customer-owned bank and one of Cairns’ oldest institutions, Cairn Bank has a proud tradition of decades of helping the community, but also focuses on finding ways to innovate and move with the times.
Over 125 years of helping locals to buy homes and to manage their money, Cairns Bank has earned the trust of over 20,000 customers from all walks of life.
Cairns Bank CEO Liam Tiernan said the bank exists to serve its customers and has been there for them through good times and bad.
“For 125 years, we’ve been the bank of choice for the people of Cairns and the surrounding region – a bank they can rightly be proud of,” he said.
According to Mr Tiernan, the bank is now embarking on the next stage of their journey to deliver exciting new digital products and services.
“Watch this space,” Mr Tiernan said.
“One thing that will always remain the same though is our personalised service, which is at the heart of everything we do.”
On Monday, 22 April, the branch will be decked out in style, and customers are invited to pop in for a cupcake and to celebrate.
