Decades of service in a flash

CAIRNS construction company CSF Industries celebrated two of its longest standing staff members recently as they chalked up over two decades of experience after starting with the company as apprentices.

Scott Soblusky and Nick Valinoti were celebrated for their service with the company and were described as “integral to our organisation” by CSF Industries managing director Sean Adams.

“After starting with us as apprentices they quickly progressed into foreman roles only three years after completing their time,” Mr Adams said.

“We are so proud to have these two men as part of our team and we wouldn’t be where we are today without their efforts.”

CSF Industries management and staff gathered to celebrate this amazing milestone recently and Mr Adams said he continues to be impressed by the dedication his staff continue to show.

“CSF Industries is a family owned and operated business and currently boasts 10 staff at 15+ years and 13 staff at 10–15 years of service,” he said.

“We have always aimed to make our workplace a great place to work and we all work extremely hard, but we also have fun and treat each other like family.”

When asked why they’ve stayed with the organisation for as long as what they have, Scott and Nick credited the owners and their work mates for creating such a welcoming working environment.

“When I arrived at CSF 25 years ago, I had no idea that I’d still be here today,” Mr Soblusky said.

“I thoroughly enjoy my job and  my colleagues and the comradery here is really something else.

“We make a great team and get to work on  some pretty amazing projects too.”

Mr Valinoti said his time with CSF had flown and attributes it to the Yelska family and other long-time managers.

“I have worked on a lot of interesting jobs and met a lot of different people,” he said.
