First National Cairns Central has been nationally recognised at the group’s General Excellence and Marketing Awards in Canberra.
The local office cleaned up several awards at the Parliament House black-tie awards dinner, recognising the top salespeople, property managers and administrators for 2020.
First National Cairns Central was awarded for Elite Investment Relations Management, placing it in the top 15 Property Managers Australia-wide.
On top of this prestigious award, Property Manager Katrina Gobbett won Elite Level BDM, while Marketing Coordinator Patrice Hayton was awarded the Nitschke Scholarship.
First National Real Estate Cairns Central Principal David Forrest said the awards capped a year of major challenges as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
“First National focused on managing the distress caused by COVID-19 for our customers, while striving to provide affected parties with as much dignity as possible,” he said.
“Through our commitment to clear communication, the provision of information and close adherence to all COVID-19 safety protocols, we managed to continue to deliver excellence for our customers.”
More than 500 First National Real Estate agents attended the awards at The Great Hall of Parliament House, with National Chairman David Lovell saying he was thrilled with the enthusiasm that led to the largest turnout in the network’s history.
“To see nearly 550 members celebrate their 2020 successes in The Great Hall of Parliament House, after the immense pressure of the COVID pandemic, is an absolute watershed moment for First National Real Estate,” said Mr Lovell.
“I am proud to have witnessed not only the extraordinary efforts made last year by individuals, but also the way principals throughout the country reached across borders to support each other during the most trying COVID restrictions.
“We truly have a uniquely supportive culture at First National and this is what enables people to be their best.”
