LOCAL business G-Solar & Electrical is collaborating with Tesla Energy at an exclusive event at Brothers Leagues Club in Cairns on Monday, 15 April.
The Tesla Energy Tech Talk, with over 100 attendees registered, aims to showcase the benefits of solar and Tesla Powerwall for the residents of Cairns.
G-Solar & Electrical, as a local Tesla Certified Installer, will be answering questions about maximising home energy savings.
The collaboration between Tesla and G-Solar & Electrical comes as part of a shared commitment to promoting sustainable energy solutions and empowering homeowners to reduce their energy costs while minimising environmental impact.
Tesla Powerwall, a cutting-edge home battery system, is designed to store solar energy for use during peak demand periods or in the event of power outages – something Far North Queenslanders know to be all too valuable in light of the extreme weather events and resulting power outages in December 2023.
Tesla Powerwall can also be used to charge your electric vehicle, bringing another layer of convenience and efficiency.
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about the features and benefits of the Tesla Powerwall from industry experts representing both G-Solar & Electrical and Tesla Energy.
G-Solar owner and fifth-generation local electrician Grant Newman said the event is an exciting opportunity and a first for the community.
“We’re very excited to have Tesla coming to Cairns,” he said.
“For our customers, the Tesla product has already been saving people lots of money.
“Tesla Powerwall’s universal ability to connect to any existing solar energy system is another benefit, as customers who already have solar-powered homes won’t miss out.”
Mr Newman said it was unique to have Tesla in regional Queensland.
“It’s a real bonus to the people of Cairns that Tesla are going out of their way to support regional Queensland with renewable energy initiatives,” he said.
“Cairns is the first regional area in Queensland to have Tesla Energy come in, and we are honoured to be recognised by Tesla as an approved installer and partner.”
The Tesla Energy Tech Talk with G-Solar will take place at Brothers Leagues Club on Monday, 15 April, from 5:45-7:30 pm.
