A 33-year-old White Rock man has been charged with armed robbery after he ransacked a home armed with a large knife.
At approximately 12.15pm on 23 September, the man entered a Coombs Street property and threatened two residents with a large knife.
He then looted the home, stealing a quantity of cash before leaving the scene in a waiting vehicle.
Following extensive investigations, detectives arrested the 33-year-old yesterday, 20 November.
He has been charged with one count of entering a dwelling whilst armed and two counts of armed robbery.
He is due to appear at Cairns Magistrates Court on 12 December.
