AN Edmonton man has been arrested after a warrant was executed at a Wrights Creek address yesterday.
During the search officers allegedly located drugs and associated implements.
Police believe the 48-year-old man was also involved in an assault on Christmas Eve last year and threatened the victim to not speak to police.
He was charged with one count each of producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs, possess utensils, assault occasioning bodily harm and attempt to pervert justice.
The man is due to appear before Cairns Magistrates Court on 8 February.
