A FREE music event, Out On The Lawn, is bringing double the fun in Cairns at Court House Gallery on weekends throughout the cooler months in 2024.
Out On The Lawn is a free music series which runs from May to September (excluding August), featuring live music under the stars outside Court House Gallery in the Cairns CBD.
In previous years, the focus has been on showcasing local acts, but this year the music program has expanded, welcoming acts from across Australia, as well as a top selection of local acts.
To celebrate its expansion, event organisers have introduced Saturday night shows into the mix, with each evening boasting its own theme, ensuring there’s a music night for all tastes.
National acts include: two-time Tamworth Country Music Festival Golden Guitar winner Brad Butcher, for his East of Everything album tour; First Nations R&B, soul and pop musician Kee’ahn; 21-year-old pop sensation, multi-instrumentalist, singer, producer, and songwriter, Logan; and Yirinda, a duo combining a sublime modern production with the ancient Butchulla language.
