A 23-year-old Ravenshoe man has died following a single-vehicle traffic crash in Millstream this morning.
Initial investigations indicate that at approximately 5.20 am, a blue 2007 Mazda 3 was travelling eastbound along the Kennedy Highway when it struck a pedestrian on the road. A 23-year-old Ravenshoe man died at the scene. The car’s driver was not physically injured and cooperating with investigators.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash and appealing to anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
