Appeal for information. Stealing, Raintrees Shopping Centre
Police are appealing for witnesses after a large number of tools, and building materials were stolen from a construction site at the front of Raintrees Shopping Centre on Pease St, Manoora.
Between 4.30 pm on March 15 and 6 am on March 16, unknown offenders entered a building site. They allegedly stripped fitted copper wiring, copper piping and brass fittings and took several commercial power tools and rechargeable batteries.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything in the area between these hours or may have CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward.

Property crime charges, Manoora
Investigations by Cairns property crime detectives have led to charges being laid against a 17-year-old Mooroobool boy after an alleged break-and-enter on Friday, March 10.
It will be alleged the 17-year-old boy gained entry to a Manoora residence, taking several items before taking the victim’s car.
The 17-year-old boy was charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count each of common assault, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possessing anything used in the commission of a crime, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing utensils or pipes.
The boy’s bail has been denied, and he will appear in Cairns Childrens Court.
