Appeal for information: Serious traffic crash, Edge Hill
Investigators from the Forensic Crash Unit are appealing for information following a serious single-vehicle traffic crash in Edge Hill yesterday morning.
Initial information indicates around 11.15 am, a red Kia Rio lost control and crashed into an outdoor dining area at a Collins Avenue restaurant.
It is understood the vehicle was initially travelling east on Collins Ave towards Sheridan Street. The driver, a woman in her eighties, six restaurant patrons, five women and a man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The injured patrons were aged between 50 and 70 years of age.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash and has not yet spoken to police or were driving in the area at the time and has dashcam footage to come forward.

Enter dwelling, Manoora
A 15-year-old Gordonvale boy has been charged following the alleged theft of an Audi from Manoora yesterday (February 21).
Police will allege around 4 am, a Springfield Crescent unit was broken into, with vehicle keys and an Audi parked in the complex stolen.
Around 7.30 pm, police located the allegedly stolen vehicle parked on Law Street.
The boy was arrested nearby following a short foot chase.
He was charged with one count each of entering a dwelling and committing, receiving tainted property, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and unlicensed driving.
His bail was denied, and he is due to appear before Cairns Childrens Court.
