Run a workshop in TRC

TABLELANDS Regional Council is inviting expressions of interest (EOIs) to deliver art workshops in their galleries as part of a two-year art workshops program to meet community interest.

“We want to hear from experienced artists or art groups interested in running workshops at Tableland Regional Gallery and the Old Post Office Gallery in Atherton,” Mayor Rod Marti said.

“Over the past 12 months we have held a series of successful and well-attended workshops including printmaking, weaving, hand stitching and wildlife drawing.

“If you think you can bring something new to our workshops program then get in touch and submit an EOI.”

EOIs will be assessed against council’s identified priorities including offering learning opportunities for new participants in the arts and activities that benefit health and wellbeing.

“This program is also a chance to support local artists and their craft,” Mayor Marti said.

Submissions can be made online at council’s website here until Monday 9 October 2023.
