CAIRNS police have charged three teenagers after the alleged theft of several vehicles in Cairns over the past few days.
Police allege a 17-year-old Holloways Beach boy, a 15-year-old Edmonton girl and a 15-year-old Manoora girl were involved in the theft of several vehicles in the Cairns area as well as other offences.
The trio were arrested by police at a Westcourt address overnight, 13 December.
It will be further alleged when the boy was located by police he was found to be in possession of suspected stolen property and a quantity of dangerous drugs.
The boy has been charged with six counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle and one count each of enter dwelling, stealing, wilful damage, possess suspected stolen property and possess dangerous drugs.
The Edmonton girl has been charged with four counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle and two counts of stealing.
The Manoora girl has been charged with one count of unlawful use of motor vehicle.
All three have been remanded in custody and will appear before Cairns Childrens Court today, 14 December.
