TWO Cairns youth have been arrested over multiple unrelated charges, some dating back until August last year.
A 12-year-old Manooora boy was charged in relation to an assault on 11 January where he was part of a grout that assaulted a women and attempted to steal her phone outside a shopping centre.
It is believed the boy had been involved in other incidents in Manunda and Cairns over the preceding months.
He has been charged with one count each of going armed so as to cause fear, wilful damage, assault and enter premises.
The boy was dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
A 13-year-old Bentley Park girl was yesterday charged in relation to multiple offences across Cairns.
Police allege the girl was involved in several incidents in the inner Cairns suburbs dating between August last year, and January of this year.
The girl was charged with five counts of enter premises, three counts of stealing, two counts of trespass and one count each of attempted enter premises and breach of bail.
She is due to appear before Cairns Childrens Court at a later date.
